Theres a thread for everyone here, 24/7 they just keep on rollin'. I have developed an interest in this topic, there are legitimate questions relating to the inconsistencies in obama's biography as well as his ham-handed way of addressing the issue. If the mere interest in this topic makes me a wacko, oh well. That particular line is lately being repeated with eerie consistency across the consumer media. If you are afraid that someone's failure to conform with the given mass opinion will be embarassing to you, then I say you're simply on the wrong forum. This place is critical of the mass culture and its slugs, not conformist.

There are, however, several folks who have Obama Derangement Syndrome and it’s getting old.

We spent several years obsessed with going after Clinton pretty much exclusively and he ended up with two terms. The Democrats followed suit and spent years obsessively foaming at the mouth about Bush and he ended up with two terms.

I am not at all in favor of spending the next four years harping on Obama to the exclusion of actually rebuilding the party, getting right philosophically, and figuring out how to appeal to voters.
