According to The Schnitt Show, a radio program available in several Florida markets and XM radio, a birth announcement for Barack Obama was discovered in a 1961 Honolulu newspaper. See link for a PDF image of this announcement.
Only 4 birth announcements for the day Barry was born. Seems to me I was told by my Dad (a medical guy) that mothers that delivered their babies in a hospital setting normally stayed in the hospital 3-5 days post delivery. I believe I read that there were only two hospitals available that delivered babies in Honolulu. Semi-private rooms were the norm back in the early 60’s. I wonder if anyone has tracked down the other patients that delivered during the period of Aug 01 to August 09. Seems to me a mother would remember her room mate.
One little point before I retire ... the Governor did not place Obama’s documents under seal. They have in fact stated that his are being handled just like all other such private documents. I can find the Hawaiian Health Department release if you need it.
Okay, so where is his BC that changes his name to Barry Sotero? There is one or he was not adopted. If he was not adopted how is it that he is known in Indonesia as Barry Sotero and how did he change his name to that or back to Barack Obama. Where are the legal documents?

even if you were correct you still don't learn anything from the announcement other than the birth was registered in Hawaii.
We knew that already, and do not dispute it.
The Announcement does NOT specify WHERE he was born, so we are nearer to establishing his eligibilty than before.
in other words, the Newspaper announcement reveals nothing and proves nothing.
Not likely they'll do that.

What they didn't explain is what is in BOX 7C of this record. Original Hawaiian Birth Certificates had a funny thing on them in the 1960s. It allowed for births OUTSIDE Hawaii to be registered IN Hawaii. "BOX 7C" on an Original Birth Certificate says "County and State or Foreign Country" of birth. - source: www.cusc.org

They conveniently left out what she went on to say :
“When we looked at that image you guys sent us, our registrar, he thought he could see pieces of the embossed image through it.” Still, she acknowledges: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”
So they can't confirm that the copy posted on the site is a legitimate copy.It may resemble one, but it can't be authenticated
It seems to me that a lot of people would be remembering things about Obama and his mother. Recall all the nonsense about Princess Diana and you will see my point. Everyone and their dog wanted in the papers with how they once had Diana spill a drink on them. With Obama...nothing.
We have seen stories in very carefully selected areas about this guy. All sorts of fluff pieces but nothing that points to his origins or his birth. The only actual stories we have are from the Kenyan side who are saying he was born in Mombasa. They try to hush that up as quickly as possible.
That just about reveals the total stupidity of this article...

BTW, when did Janice Okubo become a forensic document expert able to determine that the document was NOT forged as claimed by several experts.
Until someone in a position of power, or journalism does their job that is all we are going to have.
If that is so , I stand corrected, however it doesn't alter the situation one bit. Only 0bama can release them unless the court compels him to.
