Thanks, backhoe. That’s neat. I could use one of those over my desk. Only thing I would change would be adding a Kitty instead of The Yellow Frog.

Well, we'd love a live cat, but while one dog ( the young one ) loves kitties, the old girl we inherited when Miss Emily's Mom passed away in April simply hates cats- so our plan to get Young Cole his own kitty will be on hold a while.

Among the things I learned searching the web for "sewing table dimensions" were that there actually are suggested heights, setbacks, and dimensions for locating the sewing machine, lights, and chairs.

Another was that swing-arm lamps are recommended.

Our black ‘Squire Tom’ cat (dad was in the thriteenth air depot WWII) sits just under the shade of the reading lamp. From a few feet away he looks like he’s part of the lamp.
