Iran has launched a sattlite into orbit. This is nearly the final hurdle to having a vehicle capable of delivering a nuke warhead. Iran has had difficulties with the three stage rocket it used in the past. Dependability is essential before mounting a nuke. All in all, this is not a good thing.

Al Qaeda Leader Ridicules Obama
Al Qaeda’s number two man, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has spoken again, this time in a video released today in which he mocks President Obama and urges Muslims to engage in jihad. His speech is a sign, experts say, that al Qaeda is nervous about Obama’s popularity in the Arab world....

NKorea may be set for long-range missile launch

North Korea appears to be preparing to test-launch an intercontinental missile amid growing tensions on the peninsula, a South Korean intelligence source was quoted as saying Tuesday. The source, quoted by Yonhap news agency, said US and South Korean intelligence agencies have recently spotted a train carrying a long cylindrical object believed to be a Taepodong-2 missile.
