If Rudy’s parents were born in the US, Rudy is a natural born citizen and would qualify for the Office of President.

Not by your definition or, as I understand it, Donofrio's. Earlier you posted your definition of natural born citizen - someone born of parents who are both US citizens and born on US soil. Now unless all four of Giuliani's grandparents were naturalized citizens when Giuliani's mother and father were born, then one or the other or both wouldn't be citizens as well. And incapable of passing on citizenship to Giuliani. That is just plain crazy.

U.S. law defines natural born citizen as one born in the U.S. The Supreme Court has ruled that even if one or both parents are foreign nationals any child born in the U.S. is a natural born citizen, with exceptions for children of foreign diplomats and the like. For you to claim that somehow presidential candidates must meet a different, higher standard of natural born citizenship is contrary to our laws, our traditions, and any court decision I'm aware of. If Obama was born in Hawaii then he's eligible to be president, it's as simple as that.

“If Obama was born in Hawaii then he’s eligible to be president, it’s as simple as that.” Very amusing, and no, it’s not that simple. If there were no Indonesian connection, no adoption by an Indonesain citizen named Soetoro, no possible applications for college and college funding using an assertion of ‘other’ citizenship than American, and no trip to Pakistan on some passport not available to an American at the time, then you would be correct. But you chose to take the Obama kneepad approach, ignoring all other aspects of this controversy. Do you expect an appointment in the obamanation’s administration?

If a person is born on US soil they are a US citizen but he/she is not a “natural born” citizen unless both of his/her parents were US citizens.

Rudy's parents were US citizens and Rudy was born on US soil, therefore he is a “natural born” citizen and could hold the office of President.

Rudys grandparents could be from anywhere, it would not matter as long as Rudy's parents were born on US soil, they are US citizens. Rudys parents are US citizens by being born in this country but they are not “natural born”.
However, when they as citizens gave birth to Rudy, that means Rudy is a “natural born” citizen, meaning he was born of two US citizens and was born on US soil.

So then if a family of four comes to America and the parents are naturalized, that the children remain aliens??? That is just "plain crazy".

U.S. law defines natural born citizen as one born in the U.S.

Then why did the Senate in Resolution 511 make it dependent upon McCain having been born of two American citizens:

"Whereas John Sidney McCain, III, was born to American citizens on an American military base in the Panama Canal Zone in 1936: Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That John Sidney McCain, III, is a ‘‘natural born Citizen’’ under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States."

It acknowledged the fact that his natural born status depended upon both parents being American citizens as well as location on American territory.
