what does he see in her? I don't know, but as someone who was previously a pretty attractive teenage girl (who didn't know it til later!), he could do a LOT better. Maybe he has NO self esteem?

The age of consent in NY is 18. Isn’t she guilty of statutory rape?
That being said I don’t think an 18 year different is all that horrifying, if the younger party is at least in their 20s.
It sounds like this started when he was 12, or at the oldest 16... that is in the “yuck” realm.
