IL know it is crazy. About all we can do is be vigilant and try and get the movers and shakers who are not covering it now to cover it.

If all of conservative talk radio were to cover this issue for the next few days I would think our chances of the supremes at least hearing the case would be higher than they are. If the supremes think no one is watching and they don't want to get into a really tough case, who knows the may duck the entire issue. But, if our talk radio guys light a big enough fire under their butts we might get some traction.

“If he was born on American soil, he is a natural born citizen no matter what the nationality or citizenship of the parents, i.e., jus solis ...”

Would you GET OFF it already? I have posted you many times.

I have TRIED to explain to you that birth by jus soli OR jus sanguinis grants CITIZENSHIP - NOT NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP.

SHOW ME DEFINITIONS FROM A REPUTABLE LAW DICTIONARY, OR CASE LAW THAT SAY OTHERWISE ... AND, THAT REVERED TOME, WIKIPEDIA DON’T COUNT !!!

YOU are attaching the words “natural born” to them.

Don’t MISLEAD people by throwing out latin phrases that have YOUR agenda attached to them.

IF you MUST post, MAN UP and preface your remarks with “IMO”. That way, FReepers know that it is just you blowing smoke.

I am beginning to think you are a troll ...

“... Whether you use Article II with Jay’s letter, Blackstone, Swayne, etc and the Law of 1790 to show intention, which is what I believe you should do, or add the XIVth Amendment with the Act of 1866 as Madison does, you get the same result, BHO II is not a natural-born citizen ...”

Don’t forget Vattel’s “Law Of Nations” - John Adams was a big fan.

Adams said ALL lawyers should have it by their bedside.

Law Of Nations:

§ 212. Citizens and Natives.

“The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”

WILL YOU GET OFF IT ALREADY. I DISAGREE WITH YOU. IMO YOU ARE WRONG. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A NATIVE BORN CITIZEN AND A NATURAL BORN ONE. CURRENT LAWS MAKE NO DISTINCTION NOR DOES THE CONSTITUTION.

You are so correct. Until the bulk of those who voted for Obama face the real effects of losing their freedoms under socialism, you won't win their hearts or minds. They truly believe that the government should do everything for them—pay their mortgage/buy gas for their cars. There is no down side you can prepare them for until they are open to see it.

Unfortunately that may never happen if everything that our nation and Constitution stand for is destroyed. If we ignore our laws and the foundation of our society, we lose even the hope of being Americans or Conservatives ourselves much less of helping others see what a great nation we have.

I can’t add to a thing to that summary. You’re correct that most Obots are beyond redemption, and would actually need to experience the full loss of their freedoms to understand what we’re trying to tell them.

Fortunately, we’re not prepared to allow them the luxury of learning that harsh lesson firsthand, so (unfortunately for us) it’ll be back to the grindstone for us, once we get past the Obama era.

Agree. I for one don’t want to pay the price of their lessons. So their “hearts and minds” will either expand and appreciate freedom or not. I have often asked a certain liberal who complains about America frequently why it is that so many people are willing to do anything to come here to live and be citizens of this great nation even to risk coming illegally just to be here. As you might guess there is no reply...the eye roll tells me they are just not willing to even reason beyond their Hollywood-inspired, America bashing liberalism.
