How many times in the last 48 hours have we heard that the situation is under control or nearly under control, only to find out that there are still terrorists holed up? This was very well planned and funded. I suspect that we don’t have any idea right now how large the scope of this operation is.

I agree with you- this was a major op and carefully planned.
Just heard an interview on the live feed- fascinating. There was a group of South African security people in Mombai for a conference- staying at the Taj. As soon as they realized what was happening they secured a room, and gradually, over several hours time, one person at a time, they took the people out a side door to safety.
Remarkable.

NDTV news commentator said upwards of 40 terrorists, mostly Paki, were involved in the attacks at various locations.
This was a big operation. It took months of planning. They knew both old and new building layouts, etc. They brought food and ammo/arms. They came to lay siege and stay for a long while. And, they apparently had dry-runs and even lived in some of the hotels for a while. That took allot of money.
