Interesting. The story you posted links the several different threads of news I’m seeing on IBN Live.
IMO the info could only have come from one or more captured terrorists, probably subjected to very serious compliance methods.
True, it would be difficult with all the confusion to know who is a hostage and who is the bad guy.
IBN reporting a new “encounter” (at the Oberoi?) and gunshots are being heard right now.
Among the dead were at least six other foreigners from countries including Australia, Japan, Italy and Germany.
UK news
Its 8:00 and really dark now .
that is a big concern. nighttime would provide a lot of cover.
Lashkar-e-Toiba
'Army of the Pure'
Formation
Formed in 1990 in the Kunar province of Afghanistan, the Lashkar-e-Toiba (also known as Jamaat-ud-Daawa) is based in Muridke near Lahore in Pakistan and is headed by Hafiz Muhammad Saeed.
Its first presence in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) was recorded in 1993 when 12 Pakistani and Afghan mercenaries infiltrated across the Line of Control (LoC) in tandem with the Islami Inquilabi Mahaz, a terrorist outfit then active in the Poonch district of J&K.
1. Proscription
The LeT is outlawed in India under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
It was included in the Terrorist Exclusion List by the US Government on December 5, 2001. The US administration designated the Lashkar-e-Toiba as a FTO (Foreign Terrorist Organization) on December 26, 2001. It is also a banned organization in Britain since March 30, 2001.
The group was proscribed by the United Nations in May 2005.
The military regime of Gen. Pervez Musharraf banned the Lashkar-e-Toiba in Pakistan on January 12, 2002.

Glad to see that you are still OK. What’s the feeling on the ground there? I imagine that your country feels like ours did on 9/11. There’s probably a lot of people ready for war.
So here’s a helpful tip for any terrorists who have people helping them or if they have tv access- blaring headlines letting us know the final siege is about to take place (although we’ve been told that several times).
Looks like the Lashkar-e-Toiba want to make India, and other countries in the area surrounding Pakistan, Muslim-ruled.
Also 7 explosions at Taj.
Could be the army/police clearing areas??
Folks, get prepared to see these attacks by feral Islamofacist Serial Killers happening on a regular basis when Zer0 is officially our dictator.
The Islamofacist Serial Killers know that they will not be bothered America any more.
Maybe if we travel, wearing an Obama Pin might help.
