Peggy Noonan needs to go pound dirt. She cannot stand that Palin wasn’t “bred” and “groomed” from birth to be President, unlike so many other people. Noonan may have written great speeches for President Reagan, but President Reagan’s beliefs and principles were clearly the “meat” of the speeches. ALL Noonan has ever been and all she will ever be is window dressing.

Certainly Ronald Reagan was not “bred and groomed” from birth to be President.

I think Reagan and Palin would get along quite well.

Ronald Reagan wrote and delivered great speeches before Peggy Noonan was out of high school. Reagan's speech at the 1964 Republican convention is still worth reading today. Noonan needs to get over herself.
