You're exactly right, and it is this realization that fueled so many vows many months ago to not vote for McCain. That turned out to be irrelevant, but the result is the same. It's time to rebuild the conservative movement, which means we need to vote out virtually all incumbents in the 2010 primaries. If we don't, nothing will change. The parties have become indistinguishable.

I've been saying this too, for quite some time. I didn't leave the GOP, they left me. The Big Tent now equates to Big Government. If another person tells me to just vote in the RINO come 2010, because I don't want more of the same social programs, they should be taken out and shot for treason. What good is it to the people of the United States if the best we can offer is a go-along, get-along RINO? We have to stop accepting such candidates and say NO. My saying NO, standing on my convictions, as a minority in the voting process does not contribute to the fall of this nation to socialism. Electing a RINO does.

If being conservative means we have a minority party then so be it. Let it be a strong willed, dedicated minority party.

You are so right, and most registered Republicans could not even pick out a conservative in a lineup of candidates in their primaries. Of course, most never came to the primary election anyway.
