A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.
Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."

I’m a Florida boy, but I could see myself being a Texas transplant!
They get Rhode Island, we get the rest.
Nooooo! Can I at least go over to Eastern Washington where people are more normal?
I really don’t care what the Russian thinks. That said I wouldn’t mind seeing the U.S. divided into separate regional republics. I would be perfectly happy with a Texiana for example. I know I am not alone in that regard, but it’s just a pipe dream anyway.
I give Canada permission to take all of New England. Except maybe New Hampshire, the libertarian state, though that is negotiable if they take Washington and Oregon, too.
Texianna would be just fine with me. I believe we could pretty much be self sustaining.
You're welcome over here, but we expect all immigrants to bring their own 12 gauge and trailer home lol
I don't know about you but from the looks of it we're all headed for serf status on the banksters fiefs.
Wellllll, ok only if you promise they dont follow you.
They've got enough troubles in their own Countries but they have to decide who the USofA is and what's going to happen to us?
Read the tea leaves. Read them well. They're in Boston Harbor swirling around in the current.
I think it's time we define ourselves and stop getting all balled up every time some Euro-person tells us who they think we are.
We will survive the Obamessiah because we know his feet are of clay and he's proved it by creating a “Clinton 3” Cabinet. As I foretold, the guy wants to ‘be’ President but he has never presided over anything. He's a lost puppy and his “fair weather friends” are old Clinton has-beens and money-grubbing liberals. How long before someone photo shops Clinton's head on Obama’s body? How long before someone photo shops Clinton's head on every appointee in Obama’s cabinet (except Sec of State, it's already a Clinton-head).
If we'd wanted Clinton for a third term, we could have worked something else out. Instead we have a very shallow, lightweight, autobiographical liar and a full fledged plagiarist running the Country. If Obama didn't have darker skin than Biden, Obama would not be considered for any post in any President's Cabinet. And that's not racist, it's the truth. Obama is a racist because he used his skin color to get elected. No brains, no wit, no agenda other than being elected President/King.
And it WILL come crashing down around him, sooner than later. So let's quit allowing anyone but ourselves to define who we are. 'k?
I will arrive with a Harley Davidson, several handguns, a Colt match rifle, and a Thompson. And lots of ammo. And freshly baked cookies.
Fair enough?
Well, yeah, but the guy was talking about independence movements. Where's it going?
What are the odds of that now that Russia is offering to drill off Cuba for oil we won’t touch?
Do svidanya means "goodbye." Welcome, now scram?
At the Surf Board, naturally.
As all my vast Russian comes from old movies, I blame Hollywood!
OK but we have mainly dirt bikes over here. But the cookies are graciously accepted!
I dunno, but, I hear the cows 'round there think they're in heaven!
Independence, Texas, is just sort of an about mid-point place on the Texas Independence Trail. Texans, after winning their fight for independence, set up a provisional "horseback" government. Sam Houston [father of Texas independence] lived at one point in Independence, Texas. Although, it should be pointed out that Houston was against the first secession of Texas. Just thought of that stuff when I read that Texas indepence movement.
