Reading your last paragraph made me smile. There's NOTHING like the sounds of Christmas to help put a person in the right frame of mind for healing ;-)

Then Cheney resigns two weeks later and Condoleeza Rice, a Republican, becomes the first BLACK President and the first WOMAN President !!!
