We'll be paying for Grandma to be living in the White house, too.

Of course, grandma will be provided with FREE HEALTH CARE, FREE MEALS, limo rides, party dresses.

Nanny my foot....FREELOADER!!

My understanding is that his grandmother's needs are minimal.

All grandma requires is a little space on the mantle.

So I guess you are also writing to Dubya and demanding that he kick his mother-in-law out of the White House?! After all, Mrs. Welch has been living with them the entire time Dubya and Laura have been at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Disagree with Obama’s policies and politics all you want, but this type of sniveling has no place in American political discourse. Family should be off limits.

Well, I can't say for sure about who pays for what, but at least there is a precedent for the first lady's mom being in residence. Both Truman and Eisenhower's mothers-in-law lived in the White House and Mrs. Truman's mother even died there.
