I’m actually happy with her in the position. Kind of an insulator if you will. I think she’s more center than left and hopefully she will a) be able to manage some of 0’s leftist ambitions, or b) be an insider to leak what is really going on.

I’m not a Clinton fan, but I think she loves this country and is not as left as 0. Also, with a past president as her pillow buddy, they might be able to influence some of the politics to keep our company from becoming a marxist state.

I agree to an extent. Look, I hope Obama does do well and governs from the center, even though I am pretty sure this will never happen. I want him to do well though because even though there is no way that I supported his candidacy, I don’t want our country to fall apart.

Let them bicker amongst themselves. We need to focus everything on the 2010 election. The stakes are too high.

Maybe so, but it is a token gift for running a losing effort against 0bambi. I would be more comfortable in these troubling times to have someone who has more of a diplomatic worldliness about him/her. Her 1st lady experience and Senate experience does not put her, IMHO as the most capable or qualified person for SOS. Just my opinion....

Huh? Hillary is barely two inches to the right of Obama, and is from the same school of Alinsky Marxism.

This is Free Republic. You shouldn't have to preface your statements like such.

I see this as a choice between Trotsky and Stalin...they’re both nauseating choices to run our country.

I’m not so certain of that. Remember her speech in San Francisco around 2002 when she announced the democrats were going to take from the rich and give to the poor == spread the wealth. O said the same words to Joe the Plumber... and don’t forget, her college thesis was on Alinski; she and O are disciples of the same master.
