Most that do this find out their still spending the same money just to keep warm in long frigid winters, and cool in boiling humid summers. lol

Not even close. The savings on my vehicle registration alone is twice what I spend on my heating and cooling all year long. In 2000, a cost of living comparison between San Diego and Pocatello showed a $108,000 salary in San Diego equivalent to $70,000 in Pocatello. Housing is a much better value. The good news for me is that I relocated with the $108,000 salary still in place. Now my home mortgage is paid off.

lol...I checked my handi dandy weather site...Looks like about 37 in your neck of the woods right now, going down to about 24 degrees tonight...I didn't think winter started until December?

I don't think my ice box is that cold...

Supposed to be about 77, today here. A little chilly, but we'll do our best.
