Why not. This is between the UAW and the automakers. These UAW people had to see what they were doing. It will end up in the PBGC but I think it stinks. The pension benefits and work rules are what is killing the industry.

In fact the only honorable thing the Union could do is to put the pension assets at the disposal of the companies.

In fact, I would be in favor of a deal which gave the auto companies to the workers. I would load up on TM and NSANY personally.

I read somewhere the Union made direct contributions to Democrat campaigns to the tune of $600M. I don’t think this counts in-kind, lobbying and PACs.

The funny thing is the Chinese has a instrument company for marine use called FarA (a take off of Faria Instruments - an American instrument company. Faria Gauges are in Subs and pleasure boats!!
