All three CEOs - Rick Wagoner of GM, Alan Mulally of Ford, and Robert Nardelli of Chrysler - exercised their perks Tuesday by flying in corporate jets to DC. Wagoner flew in GM's $36 million luxury aircraft to tell members of Congress that the company is burning through cash, asking for $10-12 billion for GM alone.

Wagoner's private jet trip to Washington cost his ailing company an estimated $20,000 roundtrip. In comparison, seats on Northwest Airlines flight 2364 from Detroit to Washington were going online for $288 coach and $837 first class.

The best way to do that is to let them go bankrupt.

re: let them go bankrupt.

Absolutely! It’s the American Way. The problem is that it involves a modicum of shame and that just can’t be done these days.

All the government loans in the world will have absolutely ZERO impact on the companies and the union influence. The ONLY thing that can do that is Bankruptcy.

And we supply Joe Biden with an endless supply of travel reimbursements so he can travel home to Delaware every night.

Wonder what that has run us over 30 years?

Quite frankly, I’m getting tired of the MSM practicing to see who will be first in line to represent Osama and the Democrat Party as the official Democrat Party organ.

Congress should tell these bums that if we did not bail out Stutz, Marmon, Pierce Arrow, Duesenberg, Cord, REO,American Motors, Packard, Sterns Knight, Willys, and others that there is no money for them either.

Let them go Chapter Seven, full bankruptcy. The breakup value of all of them is larger than their stated net worth.
