November 19, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A Sacramento Supreme Court petition filed on behalf of Alan Keyes and others has asked the Secretary of State to withhold the state's 55 electoral votes from the December Electoral College tally until President-Elect Barack Obama proves he is eligible to take office.
The court document joins a host of litigation questioning Obama's eligibility in as many as 15 states, with confirmed cases in Ohio, Connecticut, Washington, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Hawaii, and unconfirmed reports from Utah, Wyoming, Florida, New York, North Carolina, Texas, California and Virginia, according to World Net Daily.
All the cases reported to have failed were dismissed due to the plaintiff's lack of standing, without the court actually investigating the complaint.
However, as Keyes was on the November ballot as the American Independent Party presidential candidate, his is the first case in which the plaintiff is a candidate who lost the presidency, perhaps illegitimately, to Obama. This may mean that Keyes' case will be the first in which the plaintiff is deemed to have sufficient standing, leading the court to investigate the complaint instead of dismissing it.
"Should Senator Obama be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of President of the United States of America and, thereby, his election declared void, Petitioners, as well as other Americans, will suffer irreparable harm in that an usurper will be sitting as the President of the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders signed by him will be valid or legal," Keyes wrote to the Sacramento Supreme Court.
"An unprecedented and looming constitutional crisis awaits if a President elected by the popular vote and the electoral vote does not constitutionally qualify to serve in that capacity," the court document continued.

Every inner city in the country will burn to the ground if Lord Obama (piss be upon him) is denied his rightful throne.
My question is, what if Obama will not be certified by the Electoral College as the duly president-elect due to the fact that he was born in Mombasa? And what if Supreme Court will also rule he is ineligible?
Works for me.
Then Biden serves as president.
However, if it is determined that he is ineligible before the EC meets, they cannot vote for him. They could actually vote for anyone they wanted to.
I don’t think we have to worry about his citizenship issues because Larry Sinclair is surely going to take him down. Right?
No more than Paula Jones and Gennifer Flowers took slick down. But at least he finally had to fess up.
Of course, having Putin and Hu and Co. talking to a CIC that is a gay crack whore doesn’t please me, but it might you.
I agree....but I would bet that the biggest majority of our people don’t understand that. As for the Electoral College, don’t they only have the names of Obama and McCain?
The MSM must be going bonkers. It would be so easy for Obie to cough up the original. Its obvious to anyone with half a brain (which excludes most liberals) that Obie has something to hide. The MSM has their heads buried in the sand hoping that this goes away. But what if the lawsuit goes forward and this becomes a hot topic.
The fact that this issue has been around for quite a while will be a HUGE embarrassment to the MSM and will further erode peoples trust in that establishment. The MSM has sat on this story for over a year. They never brought it up in the presence of the Messiah. If Obie gets caught lying about his birth, it will be the best moment of the 2008 election and probably of all time. and the MSM?? They will have some ‘plaining to do.
P.S.: If Obie cannot be inaugurated, break out the riot gear and lock and load. (Especially if you live in a Rat Zone such as LA or NY or Chicago.)
Let the inner cities burn. It will be an upgrade.
My belief that this is a dry hole remains. Thanks LucyT and Calpernia.
We’re in ‘good shape’ over Obama’s birthplace-

I've been around the block. This is a no brainer and something easilly proven or established. At least we can expect our president to meet the constitutional qualifications.
Do you believe that Justice Roberts would swear him in, if he wasn’t absolutely sure Obama was eligible?
Not at all. I just prefer more productive & constructive ways to fight the new power rather than hooking my trailer to people like Larry Sinclair & lawsuits going nowhere.
If he'll pass the EC and SC nobody will be able to stop him from then. FR off line, Rush, Hannity, Savage, FNC off the air. oThugs tracks you down like techdude, polarik.
I play a little golf. Leo supposedly was very good in college and maybe good enough to be pro. I understand how hard it is to get that good at golf as I am no where near that level.
Plus he is very good in poker. Very interesting combo. Leo has his stuff together and is passionate about The Constitution. I heard him on prarie two nights in a row and most of Lan’s show last night. He is a great American.
“They could vote for any person they choose.”
Hillary?
That way there would be no time to organize, pontificate or encourage the masses to riot...... Over and done with...This is how it's gonna be, so livewithit!!!!....The law of the land has spoken!
Yes, of course I forgot. Gotta go after the important issues regarding the marxist. I’m still waiting for you to ping me to the threads you start identifying those. If you run out of ideas, try scrolling through some of these.
