Not only would a tax of this size "impose severe penalties on livestock producers", it would put many out of business.

Taxing cow farts.
Democrats should be laughed out of Congress, but there are so many dumbed down Americans that vote FOR such nonsense.

Back in the radical days, the leftist clowns had an organization in Newark called JOIN, Jobs Or Income Now.
Yet they keep striking out at business that either provides tax money that becomes some handout recpient’s “income” or provides the job “demanded”.
Do these asses really believe that government created money or jobs?

I propose a tax on liberals for the burden of having to hear their monumentally stupid ideas.

Sadly, it’s Bush’s EPA making this.

Dave, what’s going on here? Are we going to end up with a dozen major ranchers owning 80% of the livestock in America when this has been shaken out?

This would be disasterous for a lot of little towns up my way. Ovid/Elsie comes to mind, both towns rely on dairy farming, especially Elsie.

If there isn’t a revolution soon, we will starve to death as millions already have under Marxist dictatorships. Think it can’t happen in America? Think again, Comrades.

They must go to California and tax all the folks who had their property and houses burned. The emissions from all those fires must be taxed. The California fire pollution probably equals that of the whole state of Delaware or Rhode Island.

“Cow Tax?”. Not to worry. If I know my cattle, they just ain’t a’gonna pay it. Obami will have to take it out of their hides. There’ll be a cow revolt, a stampede or sumpin”. Cows is smarter than your average voter.
