That man isn’t a Marine, he is a coward.... I had done 8yrs with the Corps and hadn’t ever met a man like that. He is a disgrace to me, my fallen brothers and the Marines.
just my opinion
Nope ... these men have no honor and bring dishonor to all that they touch. Let him go to Canada and never darken our soil again. Spend not one more dime on him, turn our backs and have him begone from our presence.
Why would anyone enlist if they weren’t willing to go to Iraq if assigned?
No need to bring them back, there are plenty of trees and rope up there.
Well said! And Happy Birthday back to ya!
Hell, we’re 233 years old....where’s my damn walker?

Actually
I feel for the kid.. I really do.
I feel for him that he was so #$@%#$@ stupid and dumb to try a lame brain stunt like that as a Marine.
Whats worse.. his Father condoned that kind of behavior.
Now.. he will have to face Court Martial.. and his life is going to change.. and not for the better.
“But...but...I just wanted money for school! I didn’t think you were serious about this war stuff!”
Yep, some think that the Military is a social club with pay.
Every once in a while, a Marine such as this one behaves in a way that earns him the title: ex-Marine. See also for example, Murtha.
Semper Fi!
I need to order one!
