The cast of Twilight, Rachelle Lefevre, Robert Pattinson, Nikki Reed, Kristen Stewart live at Much Music.

(The cast supports gay marriage starting at about minute 2 in the clip, so skip ahead if you don't care about the rest of the drivel.)

Before you ask why this is relevant, this movie/ book series is HUGE for a ton of teens in America. They worship these actors, as evidenced by their behavior at this event.

What happens when these 14-16 year olds reach voting age in 2 and 4 years?

Pretty ironic since the author of Twilight is Mormon.

the children are the future and without them brainwashing the children their agenda might die off.

They are out actively buy kids, brainwashing kid etc and they are sick for it.
I have now had to tell my 3 children about all this and that only a man and a woman will get married anything else is just plain wrong and weird to me anyway

“What happens when these 14-16 year olds reach voting age in 2 and 4 years?”

They write in ‘Edward Cullen’ for President and ‘Bella Swan’ for VP....

I’m kidding. In 2-4 years, they’ll either have forgotten Twilight completely and be drooling over some other poorly written teen novel series, or have come to their senses and realised just how mediocre and forgettable it really was.

Yes. And I’d vote for Edward Cullen. He doesn’t have many flaws... which is of course why this series is so good. And so bad.

Long after they’ve forgotten this craze though, will they forget what their idols told them? I don’t think so.

I wish so badly I had been on that stage with them so I could have yelled, “Respect the democratic process, MORONS.”

Or at least thrown my shoe. /s

You should take this report more seriously. I’m 19 and I know that teens read things like Perez Hilton for their news.

Look at how many 18 - 24-year-olds voted for Obama. This generation is SERIOUSLY influenced by MSM and gossip sites, like Perez Hilton.

Agreed. I’m 22 and all my friends are brainwashed. Episodes like this just reinforce their training.

Even these young celebs are brainwashed.

And Perez Hilton, well that’s just a whole different sack of kittens.

Actually, that is likely the reason the cast is making a public statement.

As if I care, TWILIGHT is a demonic abomination, anyway.

I’m 20, and I thought people (at least the people I hang out with) don’t think Perez Hilton is a legitimate news site, and celebrity endorsements influence their opinion of the celebrity in question because of the celebrity’s political views instead of influencing their political views because of the celebrity. Exhibit A: Tom Cruise. He comes out and endorses Scientology, and they don’t flock to Scientology because Tom Cruise says it’s cool, they think Tom Cruise is crazy cause he says Scientology is cool. In other words, I always thought celebrity endorsements were about the celebrities trying to get attention by showing off how progressive and accepting they are.

Although, I honestly think that 18-24-year-olds were primarily influenced by the fact that Obama knew how to use not only the mainstream media, but the kind of media that the younger demographic uses (social networking, bloggers, etc) to campaign. Go back about a year and look at the Ron Paul campaign - he had used a similar strategy for the same demographic, and had a similar fervent following among that age group (although, it wasn’t enough to win him the primary, but you saw the same kind of momentum and excitement there).
