How did you come up with 7/18/61?

Addendum to theory:

Stanley Ann arrives back in Hawaii with the kid, tells her mother that Daddy has two wives....and what's an 18 year old mother to do?

Madelyn makes the arrangements to have the kid checked out at the clinic with her Ob/Gyn and gets the paperwork rolling.
The doctor checks the mother and baby and has the mother and grandmother fill in the blanks, just to satisfy the Dept. of Health and Statistics. What else would the doctor do? Probably seen cases of unwed teen mothers before and is gracious in his discretion. However, in his notes of the examination, remarks are made concerning the age of the infant. Oh well, take the mother and grandmother's word and let it go. What difference would a week or so make?

Grandmother publishes the Birth notice in the newspaper (or someone else did) but here is the biggest problem in the theory. The birth notice calls the kid Barack Obama and list the names of the parents as Stanley Ann and Barack Sr. at an address that they never could have afforded and a time when Barack Sr. wasn't present.

The pregnant question is, what's the name of the infant on the original birth registration (Barry Dunham, born to Stanley Ann Dunham, father, unknown) filed by the clinic's Ob/Gyn or the fictitious Barack Hussein Obama, jr. published in the newspaper? As we have seen previously, Barack Obama's personal history is marred with falsifications and fabrications, so how hard would it be for a candidate for the US Senate from Illinois to fabricate a newspaper clipping.

I think Madelyn Dunham did her best to resolve a difficult issue in the Dunham's family and protected her 18 year old daughter and grandson as best she knew how. Bless her for her efforts......but she's gone now and so is the truth.

I agree with this scenario up to the point of the birth announcement.
I still have doubts as to its originality.

I thought the FReep team first on the ground had researched the beginning ofsummer and turned up NOTHING in terms of marraiage or birth records looking for aliases and a broad span of time?

Are there verifiable copies on microfiche that back up the copy passed to the person who first posted this on the TD website?

Did the announcement not later appear on Factcheck.org and a FReeper determined that it was the same source that posted to TD by poster lorie?

>>>Grandmother publishes the Birth notice in the newspaper ...

A newspaper like maybe the ‘Hawaiian Record’ with the assistance of Frank Davis?

Just thinking out loud.

BIGLOOK - Calpernia posted a week or so ago (time flies..) that it looks as though the font of the “announcement” is a bit different than the font of the surrounding type, and IIRC another thing (or two) that says “uh oh”. The only thing that has shown up is a photo copy, and to her it seems bogus. Made sense to me when I read her comment. Wish I knew where it was.

(Sorry for pinging you yet again, Cal - etiquette!)
