From what I've heard, she is one spitfire who could hold her own with the best field soldier.

Is this Bush’s fault? Should the press be “blaming” this on Bush? Or will he get credit for promoting women?

You have a good group of FReepers on your thread. I started a thread earlier today about General Dunwoody’s promotion and assignment. It was visited by disruptors who turned the topic of discussion into the general’s lack of what they called a “woody.” I was taken off guard, and played right into their hand. By the time I got around to posting more relevant info, the thread had been abandoned.

Congratulations General Dunwoody.

I assume since the BRAC decision, General Ann E. Dunwoody will move with the AMC to Redstone Aresenal, AL.

While I always suspected that a woman would achieve a four-star rank in my lifetime, I had always expected it to be in the Air Force, Navy, or Coast Guard.
