“If bambi is disqualified, his pledged electors are disqualified and the rat ticket ceases to exist in this cycle. The only electors left are those pledged to qualified candidates”

That would depend on state law. Some states require, by law, that Electors chosen in the general election vote the way they had pledged to vote. Others allow Electors to vote for whomever they please. If Obama were DQed, I can’t imagine a state would choose to not vote.

"Why would Bush question it?"

Because he is, "THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES", and in that position as, "leader of the free world", he is charged with ensuring the nation he swore to defend is not ruled by a man who is ineligible to assume the office. This issue, above all other, rises to the level of everything we hold constitutionally sacred. If a sitting President can't/won't defend the sanctity of the highest office in our country his presidency is not only traitorous, it makes fools of all that voted for him -- TWICE!

Bush won't question it unless some high court demands it be presented first.

How do we get a court somewhere to demand this document be verified before Mr Obama takes office? That is the issue.

I feel all candidates for President should show similar documents, I am not limiting it to this one person either.
I want equality of how this would be treated.

BS. Total unadulterated BS. Bush approved wire taps on Americans (which I agreed with) post 911, water-boarded suspected terrorists, (which I agreed with), but he'll wait for a court to decide the leader of the free world? You and I both know that just doesn't make a lick of sense. Why would a president on his way out the door not question the credentials of a man from an opposing party in a time of war? See how stupid this sounds? Bush wants his timetables/war policies enforced yet he won't support those who question his political enemies on the fundamental issue of eligibility? Come on man, your theory doesn't add up.

I don't care if you want to say Bush had cameras on all of Bin Laden's lovers/sheep. Those are different issues of known national security and the birth certificate deal isn't the same.

No way Bush or any other sitting President would touch this IMO.

Now do I believe our courts should be forcing this Birth Certificate to be reviewed before Obama is sworn in? For sure.

Sir, unfortunately you have never experienced the honor nor felt the sacred feeling of the Pledge of Allegiance that stirs GI's souls. I state this only to reiterate my belief that no American President will idly stand by while an individual who is ineligible to assume the office recites and accepts the oath that validates their presidency!
