WASHINGTON The Supreme Court will hear an appeal from a conservative group that wanted to promote its anti-Hillary Clinton movie without complying with a landmark campaign finance law.
The justices, in an order Friday, said they will review a lower court ruling that the 90-minute "Hillary: The Movie" was clearly intended to influence people to vote against Clinton in her run for the presidency. The movie was made by Citizens United.

The Movie" was clearly intended to influence people to vote against Clinton in her run for the presidency. Looks to me like they were successful in their effort.

The most blazing hypocrisy in this was SpongeMike Sweatpants’ “Fahrenheit 9/11” which received wide distribution in the U.S. and which he planned to broadcast on television prior to the election in 2004.
I guess it never occurred to us to have the government step in and stop the movie from being shown. Because, of course, we let that pesky First Amendment get in our way.

Everyone needs to go to Amazon.com and order:
"Blocking the Path to 9/11"
It's a documentary about Disney's refusal to produce the DVD version of "Path to 9/11" under pressure by the Clintonistas...one of ABC's highest rated TV movies ever.

Maybe they could take up Obama's birth certificate case at the same time. I would think that is just as important as making the Hilary movie. I don't know . . .

beside the obvious 1st amendment connotation....isn’t this a waste of time.
I mean when will it be used for a presidential race??
2012? no Obama is almost 100% the nominee right up front
2016 she will be 73.
waste of the courts time.

The same group wants to air similar movies about other public figures during future campaigns, so it’s quite an important issue. And yes, they have a movie on Obama.

Here is the direct link to their site with info and trailers:
Amazon may have it cheaper, but the $19.95 price isn't too onerous, and gives them their full profit to keep their lights on, plus Amazon supports too many liberal causes for my liking.

"Hillary is the closest thing we have in America to a European socialist," Morris said in an ad that is part of the court record. That sure seems quaint, now that we have the pure socialist Obambi elected POTUS..... I don't think that at the time of that quotation Dick Morris imagined that Obama even had a chance to win......
