I suspect these two could both get appointments of some sort for the very reasons you mentioned. Obama wants cover. They want to be players.

When the Republican party hitched it’s wagon to McCain earlier this year, it was basically the death of the party.

It will continue to exist, but I don’t expect it to every amount to much as long as it’s members act like donkeys.

The only way the party can be saved, is if the rank and file rise up and take over. Otherwise, folks are just wasting their time thinking anything important will ever happen in the party again, other than it ceasing to exist at all.

Bingo cover.

I wrote all our clowns on the right about the bailout... some flipped anyway. If they want to ruin the country, and they do, let it be on record it was socialists/dems.

Yuri Bezmenov was right... so was McCarthy.

So, is it worth it to get involved with the Republican party and try to push it back to the right, or should we rally the conservative troops to some other party, such as this Falcon party I’ve heard several mention (from what I’ve read so far - it looks fantastic). So many are saying the Republican party is history and will never be wrested away from the Rinos, so is it a waste of time to have anything to do with it anymore? Since the GOP is in disarry is now the time to pull out and start fresh with a party that truly reflects conservative principles? I always used to think third parties were a waste of time and split the conservative vote, but after this last election I’m not so sure.
