For a moment pretend that McCain, Biden, Obama were all running against Sarah in a primary. We were asked to make a decision on who achieved the following:
1. Was consistant - Did not change their stand on issues through out the primary.
2. Was direct and told the truth. Inspite of the popularity or unpopularity of an issue - was unambiguous in stating what they stood for no matter who they were addressing.
3. Connected with voters- voters felt they spoke directly to them and understood their circumstances.
4. Expressed their love of America and it’s greatness.
5. Was not a Washington Insider.
6. Was a citizen politician as the forfathers intended. Did not aspire to be Governor,Senator,President from the time they were little.
7. Had both Passion and compassion.
8. Held deep seated values that they were not willing to compromise.

None of the others had all or even part of the above qualitites. The other three candidates had either years of experience or lacked in the ability to get voters to believe in their values rather than changing their values at the first sign of the political winds changing.

Using weather as a way to rate each candidate’s changes in positions to fit the political winds, Obama would have been a full fledged hurrican that blew him from the left to the right. Biden would have been a tornado. He just went around in circles from one gaffe to another. McCain would have been gusts of wind up to 50 miles an hour. Changing some of his positions but staying the course on others. It was just Sarah that had mild breezes, because her beliefs are the majority of American’s beliefs.

Sarah was the only candidate that was not accused of lying or at least glossing over the truth. She gave it to us straight and unvarnished but in a positive hopeful way.

Comparing her to the other candidates is like having a talent show of the best veteran actors and inviting one Amateur to compete against all of them. The fact that she was even competitive showed that she had the ability with a little training and a few lessons to win the competition the next time.

We should be incredibly proud of Sarah. The fact that the media has spent more hours investigating her, ridiculing her and fearing her should be a testement to her abilitites and future in politics.

Our job is to change the debate from what the media and insiders have said about her, to letting the public know that a Star was born this election a star that shines brightly enough to light the way of the Republican in years to come. However we shouldn’t put all of our eggs in one basket, we must also prep and groom other conservative stars so we will be ready for the next congressional election to elect and back the most conservatives in one area.

Were it not for McCain running a loser (”Arizona”-type
he called it after the election) campaign, and Romney
sending out backstabbers in every direction,
Gov. Palin would have been VP-Elect. It was close;
but for weeks, an angry spurned candidate in the GOP
directed the fatal chronic insulting, and unfair “Quayling”
of Gov. Palin and her family.
