AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
We love to hear Rush Limbaugh,
Excellence in Broadcasting.
From sea to shining sea,
Millions and millions listen.
Conservative voice of freedom,
Heard throughout all America.
A message pure and truthful,
The downhearted are encouraged.
Integrity and honesty his motto.
We love you, Rush.
Listen to Rush Limbaugh.
G-d Bless you, Rush Limbaugh.

Edging toward Sixty. With Franken's "new votes" and Stevens' falling behind, the Dems will get their filibuster proof majority in the Senate.

I could be wrong, but I thought the filibuster proof number was just a Senate “rule” and can be changed so if they really wanted to change the number to 55 or 40 or 2 they can if the majority is in favor it. Does anyone know more about this?

With so many rino senators in the Senate we are screwed. That’s why we are better off without them we need true conservatives everywhere.

I agree it would be a stupid move, but I don’t want to downplay the stupidity of the Democrats who don’t plan past tomorrow.

so another site I frequent often - Lucianne.com - had some kind of fall out yesterday with posters...they have this up:
We lost some long time posters yesterday. Password canceled, comments deleted, outa here. All because some of us haven't gotten a grip. We lost an important election. Stuff happens.Don't lose your ability to fight the good fight because you can't control your temper. We are conservatives but we refuse to be in a bad mood about it.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY DISAGREE. The last thing I think Sarah needs to do is run for Senate! Let her finish her term and run for reelection - she is getting more pertinent experience as governor than anyone will get in the Senate.
