FYI
Thanks, please let us know what she’s got to say.
We understand the problems ..... we deal with them every day ...... we are here to help the new administration.
Now taking questions:
1. Long question about campaign and she said “the campaign is over”. LOL
2. I want to put to good use my position as governor of an energy producing state....we balance budgets, deal with issues every day, we offer solutions
3. I treat everyone equally, we serve all Americans without letting gender, race, demographic background affect this
4. This is not my first formal press conference, I’ve been doing this in Alaska for years. I’m trying to help the new administration by offering up solutions.
That was it - Megyn says Sarah is clearly the star and she seems more comfortable. Monica - Sarah is in a room full of stars, she is the supernova, and she is looking forward.
General comments EXCEPT for “immigration reform”. I hope that doesn’t mean Sarah is pushing amnesty...
The 2012 ticket was revealed as they walked out. Governor Palin reached out and touched Gov Barbour on the upper arm/shoulder.

From your keyboard, to God’s inbox.
I’m not liking her “immigration” comments.
Illegal Immigration is one of the main factors causing our financial crisis right now. We cannot take care of everyone.
While the Democrat Governor of Louisiana was blaming the Bush Administration for Hurricane Katrina shortcomings, Republican Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi was working to repair his state.
Democrat blame-game or Republican Prosperity, the choice is yours. Elect Palin/Barbour 2012.
What did she say exactly?
I wasn’t a supporter of McCain-Kennedy, but I’m also not in the “deport them now” Tom Tancredo crowd either.
While Democrat President Obama and his allies in Congress were attacking “Big Oil”, Republican Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin was negotiating energy contracts to bring energy independence to American.
Democrat Attacks or Republican Solutions. The choice is yours.

1. Fine employers that hire illegals
2. Deport illegals when captured
3. The above 2 steps will "encourage" natural self-deportation
Frankly, it's only a matter of time before this forum begins to understand her immigration views are pretty much the same as John McCain's, and most likely one of the prerequisites of her selection.
This issue is critical to many of us here, especially those in the border states that have borne the brunt of lax enforcement. IMHO, it is far better that we vet these views now than several years down the road, unless we want to blow off another election.
I'm sure I'll be flamed but I don't have time to respond. Gotta get off to work now and redistribute some wealth.
When the banks started granting mortgages and credit cards to illegal immigrants, I told my friends that this would put our banking industry in a financial crisis, and could even bankrupt our country. No one believed me.
Giving free medical care in our emergency rooms accross the country sure didn’t help them stay open. Giving free education to those who don’t even speak the language didn’t enrich our school systems from state to state.
Many of us have been very vocal for years about the drain on our financial system by illegal immigrants. No one listened.
One of the huge problems is that we are taking care of many illegal immigrants.
The gov’t does far too much for its own citizens in the first place.
The welfare state must stop and many problems like Illegal Immigration will be self correcting
Thanks!
The problem for me is that the vast majority of Americans don’t want amnesty. Yet both parties pander to the Latino vote. Do the parties represent Americans, or are illegal aliens more important.
She’s back on Fox with her speech.
Like Obama, Sarah Palin is a Star, a Phenomenon.
But she is a Star with Substance - somebody who represents better than any recent political figure, the values of traditional America - the values that made America the great nation Ronald Reagan left it, and two Bushes and a Clinton destroyed.
Pass it on.
Palin in 2012!!!!!!!!!!
