Just to get an idea of the dramatic dropoff for GOP support in SF, 26 years ago, our candidate got 41%. Methinks, however, that some Republicans cast protest votes for Mutha Sheehan to embarrass Facelift Nancy.
I honestly thought the Repub would edge Cindy. I’m sure it’s not the first congressional race were we placed third but that’s really appalling. Party support should never be that low.
