9.5% for our Republican candidate ? That’s the first time a GOP candidate dropped into the single digits for Congress in that district ever. Just to get an idea of the dramatic dropoff for GOP support in SF, 26 years ago, our candidate got 41%. Methinks, however, that some Republicans cast protest votes for Mutha Sheehan to embarrass Facelift Nancy.

I honestly thought the Repub would edge Cindy. I’m sure it’s not the first congressional race were we placed third but that’s really appalling. Party support should never be that low.

Billyboy as I recall you predicted 30%+ for the wackjob.
