Yeah...oil refineries?...or is my spelling wrong?
cimmminimminon and chocolate. L0L
BTW...it sure was good to see that two-part interview that
Greta had with Sarah. Nice to see her in her home setting...
fixin’ hot dogs! LOL!
I went on bivouac with a Brit unit once - their idea of field rations would put many mess halls to shame. The Battalion chef would send a few of his crew to the closest town for fresh food that he would then prepare. You know those stainless steel cook centers you can get from the high-end home improvement stores? You know, 6 burners, 2 grills, a double sink and dishwasher?
This guy had a field kitchen that would put one of those babies to shame! Ah, that's one thing the Brits did extremely well. That, and huge urns of hot tea in the TOC.
Would you believe I order seasoning packets from Ohio for Cincinnati Chili?
I love the stuff about 2 or 3 times per year.
Having said that I use twice as much meat & much less liquids.
Over pasta three ways...yes!
No. I just didnt know there were refineries out there.
I honestly dont understand the pricing.
Its cheaper here than on the coast where the refineries are.
Dont forget the CHEESE!
Will burn for about a half-hour with a nice hot blue flame...great for a night-light when dozing off, and taking the chill off a cold morning before struggling to get out of your mummy bag!
Yeah, and they get beer and rum rations.
Limey Bastages! L0L
Hadnt heard that L0L
Gotta Love that guy!
Fish Frys once a month at the VFW.
Love it!
You betcha.
We did a Reforger in tracked vehicles...slept inside. Them tin cans got cold on a late Fall morning in Germany!
Thank heavens everyone was good & your home safe.
Came across 3 accidents tonight. And it’s not even the weekend!:)
Yeah, well, we got some Limey Bastages on the board tonight...
But you’re right, totally different attitude towards alcohol.
There is a refinery about 60 miles away from us in Big Spring, where we supposedly get our fuel out here.
It’s annoying that our prices are still so high! I wonder
if it’s because we are so isolated....even Lubbock has lower
prices, and all they have is cotton up there! LOL!
3 accidents?
And people wonder why I’m reluctant to move up there.
LOL! That’s reassuring for your tummy!
