“Reach across the aisle”, “Hands across the table”, “a truly bipartisan effort” ...

blah blah bull$hit ...

Wake up GOP!

Whether you want it or not, you are in a war for this country. You win it by standing up for and fighting for your principles. You do not compromise or back down, and you certainly don’t accept defeat, or this war moves to stage 2, wherein those of us out in the streets fight it for you. You really, REALLY, don’t want that.

I dunno, I wouldn’t mind seeing Bush investigated for crimes against border agents. I read posts on this thread about Bush issuing some pardons. How ‘bout Ramos and Compean?

The Right can’t organize at all.

We’re individuals. The Left is a hive mind.

LOL I was thinking along the same lines, but like this. On January 29th Bush pardons everyone in his cabinet and Cheney for any alleged crimes and resigns then Cheney becomes President (the 44th by the way) and he pardons Bush for any alleged crime . Just think how crazy the left would get if Cheney were the President for just one day. I Don't know if its legal but it would slow down any actions the dems want to take, plus it would put the dems in a position were they would have to say that Presidential Pardons are not legal, constitutional. Creating a situation were any pardons barackkk makes could be challenged.

Bush has the goods on Bambi in his back pocket.

Very doubtful. I am really starting to wonder if any one on "our side" is even in the business of getting the goods anymore. Sure doesn't seem like it.

Possibly. Or just force such an economic “crisis” that Obama “must” invoke “emergency powers” a la FDR. This is going to get worse than ugly.

Patriot Act/Homeland Security crap will nip any insurrection in the bud pretty quick.

Starve the beast, Constitutional civil disobedience will be the best strategy to get your “I hate our government” jollies off if one is so inclined.

Correct, that is the only silver lining, watching all those 0Bama voters squirm watching meltdown of their 401-k's.

Personally I hope the third party voters that assisted him and the all or nothing conservatives that stayed home and did not vote really squirm and have sleepless nights watching those 401 k’s go down and their taxes go up. Me, I will deal with the pain on a clean conscience.

McCain is among the most liberal republicans in the senate. His attack on the first amendment was un-American and went directly against his oath of office to PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The republicans deserved to LOSE for nominating such a schmuck.

Whether you like it or not, he was chosen as the Republican candidate. Many of us here wanted someone more conservative like Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter. Unfortunately, they did not get the nod. That being said, a non-vote for McCain assisted Obama. If you fall in that category and I am confident you do, may the next four years hit you harder than me and mine.

I don't hate our government. It's the finest that the world has seen, but it's currently a touch out of control, and a lot off target, much like an unruly adolescent. The problem I see is the stupid party's leadership. There isn't a lot of time to get that straightened out. Where are the adults?
