two things I have found in this election

I thought I knew a woman , she has a masters degree and is Jewish.

She said that obama will be a better friend to Israel and she voted for obama.
It showed me that you can have all the degrees from school but it does not make you educated in life.

The other thing I found that racism does exist more so than ever but it is not by whites but by the black community who showed they will come out of the woodwork when a non white person runs for office. Color trumps everything it seems to them, not policy or experience but color

Indeed. I have a very good friend like that. Prior to the election, I had always thought she was “reachable” on some level... Nope. Big time Kool-aid drinker : \

It was very difficult to understand. I finally came to realize, that she only “believes” what fits into her mindset. Reality does NOT matter. Obama could have videotaped himself planning 9-11 with Ayers, and she would find a way to rationalize it : /

It really is a mental disease...

Re: the reality of racism.
Yup. I think it is safe to say, that a lot of folks of all colors, hate a lot of white folks more than anyone ever imagined : |
Very sad state of affairs, but the good news is, LOGICALLY, things should get better.
After all, we have the first black President. Clearly, there is nothing holding anyone back, anymore! Right?
