I think that we are interpreting the importance of this issue correctly but not it’s source and their objective.

The key here is “select militia” which is exactly what they are discussing. It becomes a constitutional battle and they will have to rewrite or amend the second amendment’s interpretation by executive order. This is where they start to take away OUR guns and make sure that every citizen is armed BY THEM.
It seems to be a baby step for a liberal, but on a big scale it seems to me like what they are trying to do. Am I reaching here? comments????
If this is the case, we NEED strong representation to force this issue to the front and strong leaders to fight for us. Not the middle of the road republicans but true conservatives who will stand up for our rights and freedoms.

I noticed the Democrat union minions were VERY aggressive this year in trying to take our county sheriff's seat. It looked like the guy they ran had quite a bit of cash. They ran a two or three-year very shrill campaign in the press against him even before their candidate be known, so who funded that?
Has anyone else here noticed the targetting of their sheriff's office by the unions in their areas? I'm curious to see if there was a national effort.
Everyone needs to pay particular attention to keeping Obama and Ayers types OUT of county sheriff seats by actively working for the good ones, or even running against the compromised ones, and studying their choices with care.
