I honestly foresee this time line.....
1st year ....FOIC Illinois style gun control to create national record base and fees and licenses etc ....no ban, everyone thinks they dodged a bullet. Snoopy dancin and beer for everybody !!
2nd year.... Constitutional convention, the 2nd is toast before the socialist controlled congress is voted out. No tweeker tease bans on pistol grips of HiCap magazines etc ......just a ban on all firearms and now he has the cash and yer firearms or seizes your property if a firearm is found on or in said property. More money for his sedition , no guns and auctions of property taken by enforcement efforts in 3rd year !
He’s already done a lot for the economy with just the run on gun shops for ammo and firearms etc ......
“The Precedent” is what he shall be referred to in our arena......versus “The President”.

Well, I am green and buying my first gun and read that a Glock 33 is good for women. Is it? Feel free to educate me.
They're also out of production.
They wanted us to consider using six (6) of these things!

And the CZ 75 is an excellent pistol.
“Why so much emphasis on the .223 rather than the 5.56/308? Does it have to do with the availability of ammo?”
.223=5.56 and is the caliber of the AR15(semi) and M16(full auto). .308 is also a popular round, but not in the same supply as the .223/5.56 because of the dominance of the M16/AR15.
One of my faverites is a model 37 Ithica 12 gauge. Cheap, reliable and plentiful. Same with a 500 Mossberg.
Saw the Romanian at $429 at a gun show in Maryland Saturday... should have jumped on it.
Well I don’t believe in guns that are “good for women.” I believe there are women who want to learn to shoot, and women who want to be able to make a gun fire if they need it.
Which are you?
How much would the shortest, legal double-barreled shotgun cost? Who makes ‘em, and which is best?
:-)
I've played unofficial recruiter since moving here (from Florida!) and seeing how absolutely wonderful it is. The only problem...we have waaaaay too many Left Coasters moving in and not nearly enough right thinking conservatives. So come one, come all...if you're conservative and have guts, we want you in Idaho.

What kind of gun is good for the ladies? I’d like to buy one but I have very small hands.
Secondly, get a sling for every long gun and a holster for every sidearm. Weapons don't do you a damn bit of good if you set them down and walk away from them. That old adage of "a pistol is what you use to fight your way back to your rifle" is a load of crap...there's no excuse or not having your rifle on you!
My personal advice is buy a good .22 rifle first. They're easy to learn on, the ammo is still relatively cheap, they can be used to acquire food if the need arises, and in a WTSHTF scenario, a .22 can be used to get your hands on other weapons. I recommend the Marlin Glenfield, which has an integral 18-round tubular magazine, or the Ruger 10-22, which you'll have to buy detachable mags for.
Good luck...just be aware that at this late date, you're gonna pay through the nose for anything you buy.

Why?
Cause they have the guns....numb-nuts!!
You know...your local N.Y. Democrat voters....should be able to direct you to someone who can find you a gun.
First you have to take baby steps......when you prove you can do this..get back to us, then we will tell you what to buy...and what to pay.
