“Here’s my question, though...why should a country already deeply in debt (US) spend millions (if not billions) of dollars to protect Europe, when they obviously don’t wish to be protected? I don’t understand it. “

Because there are still a couple of countries over there that remember what life was like behind the Iron Curtain and they don’t want to return...especially with Vlad saber rattling about “The Good Old Days”.

Freedom yours or someone that wants your help to attain it...is worth any price.

Because there are still a couple of countries over there that remember what life was like behind the Iron Curtain and they don’t want to return...especially with Vlad saber rattling about “The Good Old Days”.

But (1) none of them, even Poland, seem to be that enthralled about the missile defense system, and (2) supposedly it's aimed against Iran and other "rouge nations" and not at all against Russia.

Very well put.

It will be watching a dance to see how the euroweenies protect Poland,Ukraine, Georgia, etc and dance with the Oil Bear at the same time.
