Barack Obama conducted his first press conference as President Elect, with Vice President Elect Joe Biden and his Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel at his side and his economic advisors, looking appropriately dour and serious, standing behind him.
There was not much in the way of news made at the Obama press conference, aside from a shot taken at an old lady named Nancy Reagan. The majority of the questions were about the current economic situation and what Obama intends to do about it. The short answer appears to be the enactment of some kind of economic stimulus package, the shape of which is unclear.
Some components of the economic stimulus package were discussed. There will be some kind of bailout for the automobile companies that will force them to make fuel efficient cars. There will be an extension of unemployment benefits. There will be some kind of "rescue package" for the middle class.
Barack Obama took a cheap shot at former first lady Nancy Reagan, suggesting that she held séances. This was in response to a question of consulting former Presidents. No doubt this will cause Barack Obama's unsavory image among conservative Americans to be soiled even more, at least until and if Obama apologizes.

Well, like we all said, give the Dem a couple of years and they will self implode. They always do. Heck, in the very first conference of the President-elect, he shows no restraint. Sad. This man does not represent anything of the Black Man in me, and is nothing to aspire for, IMO.
It was Hillary Rodham who was consulting with Eleanor Roosevelt’s spirit in the White House just a few years ago.
Anyone care to bet that the MSM will NOT make this correction???
Expect Micheal Reagan to take the President-elect to task on his show.
As classy as we expected. Even his own voters must be realizing how The Affirmative Action President will govern.

The ironing of it all, is that Hillary was the one having made up conversations with dead people!
He sure does have problem with women. I think that is a Muslim attitude.
Considering what Mrs. Reagan recently went through (a fall), this is beyond crass.

Well his own voters are starting to wake up from an Obama dream world.
Mrs. Reagan had her nasty fall the same week my season citizen mother had a fall. This is Obama’s way of “flipping the bird” to Mrs. Reagan, these comments.

I'm not so sure. Did you hear the comments from Evan Thomas and Jon Meacham that Rush played today? These two MSM bigwigs are already talking about The Big 0 as being "creepy."
The media love an enthralling narrative. They love to tell a story about a politician's exciting climb to glory, they marvel at his hubris, then they love to see him fall. It's great drama. With only a little exaggeration, one might say this oft-practiced media riff echoes the tragedies of Euripides!
(Though of course, the narrative sometimes becomes a melodrama instead of a tragedy. But I digress.)
Conclusion:
I fully expect the MSM eventually will enter a "tear down" phase in their coverage of The 0ne.
My main question is, How long will it take? As regards Pres. B.J. Clinton, I seem to recall that the tear-down began with his expensive haircut on the runaway at LAX, and it intensified during Hilary's healthcare fiasco -- although it didn't reach true fever pitch until the Monica revelations in early 1998.
So based on the Clinton precedent, I won't be a bit surprised if the MSM gives Big 0 some very rough treatment NLT the year 2013.
(Maybe too late to block 0's re-election in 2012. But at least it should help the 'Pubs make a respectable come-back in 2016!)

When you take a look at how he was raised it truly was sad. He was marinated in the Communist Agenda from a very early age. I’m sure he’s never seen the goodness of humanity. That is the truly scary thing about him.
He surrounds himself with people who find this funny.
As in his minister who said, “God Damn America!”
He is unleased and the media laughed.
This is why I missed the One’s press conference today and can’t watch the news anymore. I’m watching a movie right now. From now on it’s movies, sit-coms, sports, or listening to Rush and Sean.
Mrs. Reagan is an elegant lady. Obama isn’t used to being around a lady of class and true character. Michelle could only wish to be half as classy as Mrs. Reagan. It’s going to be a long four years.
