AuntB, the analogy I use is that conservatives are like Charlie Brown, and the GOP is like Lucy snapping the football away from him.

How many times will we allow this to happen?

We need to let go of the GOP and form a conservative party and take the best and brightest conservatives with us.

The GOP can no longer be fixed.

We need to move on, and leave them behind to join the Whigs in political history.

You are SO right! That McCain won’t come out in defense of Sarah indicates to me that all he did was use her to bring us on board. Which makes me despise him more than ever. To think that the GOP has been doing the same to us over the years since Reagan left office is infuriating.
