BOYCOTT of FOX is WORKING
Veritas2002 | 11-07-08 | Vanity

Posted on 11/07/2008 9:06:21 AM PST by veritas2002

There has been an overwhelming response to the call to BOYCOTT FOX because of their trashing of Sarah Palin on their various programs, especially by Carl Cameron and Shep Smith.

The one-week BOYCOTT began yesterday - Thursday, at 3:00 PM EST. While some of you remarked that you had already tuned them out, many of you agreed to begin doing so.

To broaden the BOYCOTT, post this on as many conservative blogs that you can. The Nielsen ratings might not relfect the BOYCOTT but you can be sure that FOX's sponsors will not be happy, and it's all about money baby.

After the ratings tumble all the other hosts on FOX will be putting pressure on Cameron and any others to cease becoming part of the 'drive-by media' crowd.

So far over 15,000 have viewed the call for the BOYCOTT!

We have lived for three years without TV and Cable. The internet supplies what we really want on demand. It really frees up your mind.

Carl Cameron and Shep Smith

Are they a couple? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I have not watched FOX for a long time and a long time before that I stopped watching the rest of the MSM.

I did not know I was part of a boycott. Thank you for letting me know.

Personally I have boycotted all network and cable news cast since Tuesday and will probably not watch again anytime soon. Now I may watch the Palin interview with Greta but not before and not after. I refuse to take the reporters view of things any longer. That's just my view on things.

“FOXNEWS Greta Van Susteren obtains first post election interview with Gov. Palin...”

Do we have permission to watch Gretta's interview?

I went to fox News.com and tried to find an email address for Carl Cameron there was none shown however there was a article on Carl by another reporter at fox after I added my 2 cents worth I read the comments there was 57 pages of them I stopped at page 4. Most are hate messages by Liberals. I refuse to change stations as I know the others lie like a rug and need my news daily. However Greta may get to the crux of the situation and I await their showing of the interview. Bill O Reilly is getting too big for his britches if he was a real reporter he would get of his NY Zzz and fly to Alaska and get a interview with Gov Sarah instead of saying if she came here I would give her air time. Hey Bill the reporter goes to the story not the way you think

It is extremely rare that I watch TV anyway. If there is a show I want to watch, I download it.

Shep was jealous of her shoes. Do they come in a 91/2 light
loafer?

I have done the same. I didn't spend much time here on FR before the election, because I was on other websites and forums trying to educate the ignorant. Now there is not much point in that. I will be getting my news here on FR and from some talk radio hosts.

Money does talk, btw. Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy was asked
how Rupert Murdoch deals with someone like him, being on the opposite site of the political spectrum. MacFarlane replied
that “the regular Fox channel and Fox News may as well be
two separate companies” and he added “he doesn’t mind my
politics because Rupert is a businessman first and a Republican second”. In other words, if people love the
Bush-bashing Peter Griffin on Family Guy and he gets
ratings/money, Rupert’s fine with it.

Thus, a boycott can also work. Take away their ratings
and their income and...Money does talk.
