Somebody is changing the change.gov website:

THE WEBSITE HAS BEEN ALTERED......

This is what the text now says in the America Serves section:

"Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start."

Gone are words about "requiring" service for school....now it is just a "goal." ALSO added is some gimme to students who do it in college.

Just 7 hours ago, it said this:

I think it’s two things....ticked off extreme far right voters who sat this one out, and some who were straddling the fence, and don’t have sense enough to know that our National security should be our first concern, and they bought into the Obama “change” thing. As a Christian, I’m not sure what happened there, I thought they would be out in droves. I thought it would be close.
All I can say is, and my daughter agrees, we may be here to say, “I told you so”. That’s under the assumption that we will have a right to state our opinion in a few years.

I am speechless, though shouldn’t be. This is only the beginning. How can the government of a free nation REQUIRE free work from its citizens?!

I am afraid that the moment Obama takes office, we will cease to be a free nation.

And of course you won’t even be able to contest this in courts as unconstitutional, because the judges that will be appointed by Obama believe it’s a “living document” and they can interpret it any way they want it, and will figure out a way to rule that this is all for the “benefit of the children” therefore it’s OK.
