Obama’s Revolutionary Positive Behavior for Effective Schools Act of 2007
In Section 8 Obama’s bill creates what’s called the “Office of Specialized Instructional Support Services” which shall “administer, coordinate, implement, and ensure adequate evaluation of the effectiveness of programs …” via a new “Director” who provides “continuous training and professional development opportunities for specialized instructional support personnel” comprised of “school counselors…social workers…psychologists, and others...” These “instructional support personnel” provide “assessment, diagnosis, counseling, educational, therapeutic, and other necessary corrective or supportive services…” for students.
If passed into law funding to implement Obama’s bill will be extracted–without restrictions from Title I funds currently budgeted in the President’s 2009 budget at US$14.3 billion according to the Office of Management and Budget. Obama’s bill “re-designates” funds to allow State educational agencies to “allocate funds to develop and implement coordinated, early intervening services (including school-wide positive behavior supports) for all students. http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/5402
You hit on a subject I brought up a few hours ago with my sister-in-law who's suffering serious Obamadepression.
Where's the common sense for conservative parents to shell out tuition to a university they know will fill their teens' minds with liberal garbage? We do have other choices.

The same common sense needs to be used when a school has the audacity to brainwash students into believing homosexuality is just as normal as heterosexuality. Get your kids out of there, ASAP! Then band together with other like-minded parents and fight the evil system. You just may save other kids.

President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.
