No, it's not all that hard. So let's file it, work for it, and at the same time - DEAL with the REALITY. OK?
We got 4 years of OBAMA. 2012 won't change that. We can work towards it, but we must deal with the FACTS...or, I guess concede that conservatives can't do two things at once. You think I'm not on the conservatives side because I choose to deal with reality?
You think I'm not on the conservatives side because I choose to deal with reality?
You just sound nuts.
Let’s go through this again:
1) 2006 was not about anything but a combination of corrupt GOP officials all arriving at exactly the same time, a few months before the election. There were suspicions of orchestration, but regardless of that, the point is . . . There Was No Justification For Policy Change And No Evidence Of An Ideology Change In The Electorate.
2) Ronald Reagan could not have won against Obama this year, and it had nothing to do with ANY policy at all. Ronald Reagan could have loudly espoused his core philosophies and he would have lost by about the same count because The Electorate Will Not Tolerate Loss Of About Half The Nation’s Net Worth In Just 45 Days Before The Election. The people vote their pocket book. It doesn’t matter who is in front of the mic. JoAnne the Waitress gets her news in bursts from the TV and all she saw was the relentless pounding on her and her mom’s 401K.
3) There is no need to flail about gnashing teeth about rightward or leftward. Policy is NOT RELEVANT. If you want to save the GOP or conservatism, devote your energies to ensuring that the market crashes were indeed random, rather than yet again occurring at such a bad time for the GOP.
