Blacks and hispanics voted for this measure as well. Are the gays going to protest them?????Protest against the sacred minorities that can do no wrong? Never!

I guess you view any dissent against your religion as a reason for violence. Thats cult like behavior.

La Enchiladita is not Mormon. Were used to you calling us a cult, but perhaps the Catholics aren't. You might want to be careful.

Check out Mark Steyn. Seems like some gays ARE going nasty against minorities. I can't believe what I am hearing.OK, but gays will not be marching to the nearest black church to protest. They might find somebody who isn't as well-mannered as a Mormon.

I agree David Parker was treated disgracefully, and so was his child. It’s like a gulag up there in Massachusetts. And the Kennedy/Kerry ideology has been trying to clone itself everywhere else.

If this were voted on again, after this kind of behavior, I suspect Prop 8 would get wven MORE votes.

A warning that you might want to be careful to read before you post. This tends to avoid unnecessary hurtful and irrelevant comments toward others.
Do what you will.

The protesters seem not to realize that 23% of Obama supporters also voted Yes on 8 also. (Re black and hispanic)
I wonder how an influx of millions of illegal immigrants is going to affect their campaign for same-sex "marriage"

Last I heard Prop 8 has passed and gay marriage is unconstitutional in California.
Bigamy too.

Now, they want to negate my vote as THEY did with Prop. 187, when a vast majority of California voters wanted to stop the flood of illegal aliens, or at least to stop their free benefits.
Have you read their legal argument? It is a bunch of nonsense.

My Nephew did the same thing, many days and weeks out canvassing, door to door getting out the message about prop 8, in addition to donating money. Unfortunately, and this irks me, he also voted for Obama. Go figure.
So many of his supporters did not want to abandon traditional moral values.

Too bad they didn't know him that well.
Obama has vowed to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment. He even went against Clinton on this one, who was in favor of repealing some of the DOMA, but not all of it.
His supporters don't even know what he's about to do to their values...
