Certainly many people are unteachable. But many others can be taught, and we have to start teaching effectively and on a large scale. If Obama drives the economy into the ground, people are going to start looking for answers.

Talk about self-contradicting. I've detested him for years, but didn't know he's Jewish and pro-Israel. Apparently he doesn't see the contradiction in his positions. And I'm surprised Obama is hiring him, though it might be convenient to be able to trot him out to distract American Jewish voters every time Obama says or does something in support of "Palestine" or against Israel.

I’m convinced many people are unteachable.
Yesterday on our local talk radio show a woman called in to tell the host that now Obama is elected we should all agree with him. She asked him if, in four years, Obama did everything he said he was going to do would he then vote for Obama. The host replied no. She couldn’t understand that he didn’t support Obama’s platform. I don’t think she knew what a platform was.
Then she said that the U.S. thinks democracy is so wonderful it tries to export it to Iraq and other countries but here at home the Republicans fight against the Democrats.
It took a while for the host to realize she thinks that Democrats = democracy and republicans don’t want democracy here.
Anyone who doesn’t know the difference between democracy and democrats is non-teachable.

Religion in Emmanual’s case is purely a matter of image and convenience.
I remain to be convinced that he’s really American before he’s a Cook County Democrat.
