Actually, there’s a link within the story on CNN’s page that leads to a story that says the campaign new about Scheunemann for weeks but instead of firing him they just cut off his email and confiscated his Blackberry. Kinda lame but, I suppose firing someone that late in the campaign would have been seen as an admission of weakness.

Another story lays out that McCain’s camp is protecting N. Wallace, who really was trashing Palin, set up Palin with the Couric interviews, and basically was a back-stabbing RINO b###h.
