Actually, there’s a link within the story on CNN’s page that leads to a story that says the campaign new about Scheunemann for weeks but instead of firing him they just cut off his email and confiscated his Blackberry. Kinda lame but, I suppose firing someone that late in the campaign would have been seen as an admission of weakness.
Ok so this must be part of what Bill Kristol was talking about on Fox and Friends this morning when he called Wallace and Schmidt paranoid and delusional or something to that effect. He mentioned something like this. He says they took the stuff because they wanted to know what he was saying about them. He was defending Palin.
