I went for a few beers after work and played the lottery.

Unusual for 3PM in a small working mans saloon type bar in Monroe NY the place was full, not an empty stool.

Mostly union construction workers who commute to NYC and local business people who just didn't feel like working.

It was eerily quiet, a somber mood hung in the air.
Depression.

The news channels were on, and every once in a while
“I don't believe it” was muttered.

I've never seen anything like it.

Hey! We’re in the same town! My experience mirrors your experience. I’m equally numb because Hall was re-elected. He’s as radical as the one. Money machine was big factor in CD 19.
