The McCain Campaign’s Classless Cowards (already attempting to blame Sarah for their loss!!!)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | 11/05/08 | Michelle Malkin

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”

At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.

Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.

Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.

And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

***

More: Ace of Spades is %^&* spitting mad:

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).

These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”

Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?

So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.

I blame Carl Cameron as much as the McCain aids. He will use any rumor or even create them himself to get more screen time.

Cameron is the one doing all the shooting, granted; but that scarcely excuses McCain's curs from providing him, willingly and eagerly, with all the bullets.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if the “sources” don’t exist at all. He made crap up and spread it around the Fox newsroom to torpedo Thompson in the primaries and seems to like the power to create and destroy. If there are actual sources, I think it is no surprise that they went to “Campaign Carl”, knowing that he would happily assist them in these smears.

As I recall, Gov. Palin said both Man and natural cycles affect climate. In fact, if you study the graphs carefully, going back 1/2 million years or so, the most recent cycle IS different than the previous ones, and, here’s the kicker: If the data is correct, it appears likely that human activities have, by pure dumb luck, actually stabilized the “natural” wild swings and prevented us from dropping into the next period of severe glaciation.

We won’t get to first base with a new or 3rd party. That would only take Sarah down. We have to take the Republican Party back from the elitists.

She only asked McCain to let her and Todd go to Michigan. I wouldn’t call that trouble in paradise.

Did I miss something, or didn’t the story say Gov. Palin told the staffers to talk to her husband: Therefor I’d assume Todd Palin was RIGHT THERE IN THE ROOM WITH THEM and if they so much as made the wrong glance at her would probably re-work them into a snowmobile ski!

BTW Greta’s poll is running 1868 votes that Gov. Palin “hurt the ticket”, 26075 votes that “the staffers are mean-spirited and wrong”.

I do too, plus the FNC shouldn't even repeat such gossip.

I have a better solution. Governor Palin dumps the Republican party and starts a viable 3rd party of conservative & libertarian ideals. A grassroots - “put the people first” - party.

McCain used Sarah to keep himself from being humiliated. She doesn’t need the Republican party - they need her.

During the primaries,McCain wasn’t even a distant 3rd in my book.I selected Romney after Thompson dropped out. When McCain won the primaries,I was so po’d i considered not voting at all in november.I voted in the general because of Palin-a real conservative who connected with me(fly-over country)and(i believe)a lot of other Repubs. Now they’re putting her down?Don’t these folks have any shame?

LOL

You know there are a lot more blacks & hispanics who think like me than a-holes in corporate boardrooms and country clubs.

Just something to ponder.

Sarah in 2012. We need a new coalition.

BTW, it looks like Hispanics were the tipping point in this election.

Yes, Sarah answering the door in a bathrobe is much worse than LBJ giving an interview to Richard Goodwin while sitting on the crapper.

like Ronald Reagan did, she ought to resign as Governor a year from now

So exactly what was the date of President Reagan's supposed resignation as Governor?
