I found the REPUBLICAN CONTRACT WITH AMERICA in one of my books the other day. There is no leadership in this party and I believe the republican party is dead. Time for a diaper change a new party is paramount.

Unfortunately, I believe that was a once in a lifetime event that won’t ever be repeated. My fear is that the type of people going into congress today don’t have the same mentality that Gingrich and his people had. Those types don’t want to have any part of DC.

Remember James Rogan? Someone like him would be perfect but the Clintons did him in. And why? Because he was an honorable man and did his job to present the facts against that scumbag Billy the Rapist Clinton. Rogan is now a federal judge in Orange County California. He would have been perfect as the minority leader.

Sad to say but I believe the Pube party will always be in the minority.

We need to find a person and plan that may not exist.
Here are some traits:

-Newt-like, but can keep his pants on
-Gov Palin-like but with more maturity
-Gov Palin-like that will take on the national-level GOP
-A 1994-like nationalized campaign plan for ALL open House and Senate seats in 2010
-A Republican version of Rahm Emanuel or Tom "The Hammer" Delay but more charismatic to ramrod Conservative issues
-A Reaganesque public orator/communicator
-A plan to descredit Barry without sounding wacko or shrill

Why do I seem to recall a pledge to move against abortion in this Contract of America, which McCain’s pal, then Senataor Freddie Dalton Thompon, later voted against?

We need to return to this contract, and we need to do this NOW.

Despite having both houses of Congress, most of the contract was not really accomplished.

And after that, we got “the education president” just 6-7 years later who instead of abolishing the dept of education, expanded it more than ever despite its very existence being in violation of the tenth amendment. Great example of bait and switch, not by intent (I believe the contract with America was well intended), but by the constant flaw of our party, “being nice” to those democrats who have proven over and over again that they cannot be trusted. We’ve blew our chance to get better government that could demonstrate itself effectively to everyone, thereby increasing its chance of being perpetuated—but gosh we were sure nice!
